How does a single parent get schooling paid for?

I am a sinlge parent and just applied for a small college. I was able to get a pell grant and student loans but stiol have a balance. I cant afford to pay the balance or even pay abck the student loans. I was told by many perople since I am very low income and a single parent i can get my schooling paid for. I just dont know how to do it. I am only going for 11 months and it costs ,000 so its not like I am trying to get a lot of money like if i was going to a big college.

    Talk to an accountant. You won’t be able to have the government pay your tuition outright, but you WILL be able to write it ALL off on taxes.
