Is it possible for a single parent on low income to go to University?
I am a single parent aiming to go back to university next september. I have been told that any benefits i currently recieve will stop and now i am worried that any loans granted won’t be enough to cover all my living expenses and costs i incurr raising my child. I recieve no child support also. Has anyone been through a similar situation or can offer any advice?

Are you in the States? If so, I’ve NEVER heard of benefits being stopped. Who told you that??

Pell grants and foundational scholarships are WONDERFUL. Also, apply for a work study. Have you considered starting at a junior college and graduating, then transferring to a university? Its WAY cheaper!
