I need to file these papers as soon as possible. Also, my baby's father and I are not married. Also, do I need to wait for the child custody hearing to then file for child support. I am looking for full custody.

A friend of mine just filed for divorce in the end of March; both her and her husband agreed and the divorce should be final in 3 months as there was nothing to fight over. She has been separated from her husband for 1 year already out of their 3 year marriage due to some infidelity on his part. During their separation period, she met and got engaged to someone else. She is currently planning her wedding to this gentleman. So, how soon after her divorce is finalized can she apply to re-marry? Thanks for any advice.

I am the mother of a newborn. The father wants nothing to do with the baby and I am not requesting any child support or anything from him. Do I need to go to court to obtain full custody or can he just sign forms over since he's completely willing?

I received my conditional green card based on my marriage to my wife. We are planning to divorce because it is just not working out between us. I have to apply to remove the conditions on my green card 90 days before it expires. I looked on the USCIS website which says that you can still apply if you get divorced. But my question is if it is harder to have the condition removed if I get divorced? What are they looking for in order to accept the removal of the condition? Thank you.

the main reasons, situations, causes, that cause a wife and husband to break-up. Is it financial problems? Communication? I know cheating or having an affair is obvious, but I don’t think that happens as often for other reasons, what usually causes a wife and husband, even if they have children or not, what usually causes them to fight and argue that will ultimately end in divorce or separation? I am just wondering because the divorce rate is very high, like at least 50 percent of marriages end in divorce, what are the main causes of divorce?

I am a single parent and I have no dependants. I owe the IRS backtaxes. Every year I continue to owe the IRS taxes. Income is about ,000 a year.

I already had my divorce hearing, and the judge signed off on everything, but i forgot to ask if they were mailing me the paperwork. Are they going to mail a divorce certificate? And if so, about how many weeks will it take?

I am a slightly disabled female single parent, who split from her partner recently. My son is 5 years old. I say that I am slightly disabled in that I am not disabled enough to get registered as a disabled person !!
Anyway, because of this, I have problems doing general DIY around the house, even simple things like changing a light bulb, changing a plug, screwing/unscrewing screws etc.
Can you recommend how I can over come this? Would it be a good idea to employ a general 'handyman' who could do these things for me. If so, are they expensive to employ?
